# Mint $PEPAY

When a user mints (buys from contract) $PEPAY with $PEPE, new $PEPAY tokens are minted, and the $PEPE spent goes into the contract Vault (inaccessible to all users including the team). Result. $PEPAY backing increases, price goes up in $PEPE. $1 in $PEPAY is minted but $1.10 in $PEPE is charged so that the backing increases more than the token inflation.
